Presented By: Cindy Merrill

  • Knowledge: Don't forget your brain (be ready to collaborate)!
Session Objectives:
  • Attendees will leave with an understanding of how digital learning environments can support student-centered learning, blended learning, and a flipped classroom and can provide a practice and performance arena for student communication and collaboration.
  • Attendees will be introduced to several online learning management systems (Moodle, Edmodo, Schoology, Google Classroom, and more).
  • Attendees will be provided supported work time for hands-on exploration of the tools (Play Time!) in order to learn which, if any, may fit into their own classroom practices.  Bring a prepared lesson plan if you want an authentic assessment of the tools. You could leave with a lesson already built in the learning management system of your choice!
