Session Description:
The human-centered design process (HCD) is based upon a core belief that understanding the needs, hopes, and interests of your potential audience ("users", "customers") leads to incredibly powerful results that have the highest impact possible. This type of design-thinking process can be applied to any number of situations and problems of practice and often yields creative, highly impactful solutions for staff, students, and community members. This session will provide a high level understanding and an opportunity to begin applying this design process to your own practice.
