Session Objectives:
  • Objectives: Learn the components of producing a newscast using an iPad and a simple green screen.  Students will demonstrate and answer questions about the bi-monthly process of creating a student initiated and led production.

Session Resources:
  • Reversable Green/Blue Screen - This is the green screen we used during this session.  It lists on Amazon for approx. $52.
  • Studio Lights - These are a similar type of softbox light kit used during the session.  It lists on Amazon for approx. $90.
  • Green Screen by Do Ink - iPad app used to film and add backdrops. Currently on iTunes for $2.99.
  • EZBackgrounds - Royalty free backgrounds used for some of the effects.  Different types of packages/memberships available.
  • iMovie - iPad app used to polish the post production with music, themes, transitions, special sound effects.  On iTunes for $4.99.
